This program explores the nature of anxiety, how lack of preparation for a test increases anxiety, and what a student can do to help minimize the effects of anxiety. Thursday, October 22, 10:00am-11:00am TRANSFERRING TO A 4-YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY Learn how to navigate the transfer process. Entrance requirements for transfer students vary widely among other colleges and universities. Students must complete their courses at Tidewater Community College with grades acceptable to the college from which they request admission and transfer of credit. It is strongly recommended that early in a student’s academic career, he or she discuss transferring to a four-year institution with the appropriate representatives of that institution.
