Area of use
Only for use with 12V halogen lamps.
The transformer is suitable for Class III
luminaries.
Suitable for mounting on flammable
surfaces, such as wood.
The transformer is for indoors use only, IP20.
Installation
The transformer must be installed by a
qualified technician.
Consult the table above for maximum and
minimum lengths for the output cables.
Make sure that the connectors are firmly
tightened.
Safety
Do not cross 230V and 12V cables and do
not lay cables alongside the transformer. (Fig
2)
Too high currents through the wiring might
cause flammable situations.
The luminaries and the transformer should
not be covered with insulation.
Do not place the transformer together with
luminaries inside a downlight box. (Fig. 3)
SwitchDIM
HT5300, HT5210, HT5150 and HT5105 are
fitted with integrated switchDIM function.
Only one cable (live or neutral) is required to
connect to the “switch-dim terminal” (see
figure 1). There is no length limit for the
switch-dim cable.
The distance between two transformers
should be no less than 200mm in order to
avoid electromagnetic disturbances.
This product is fitted with protection
(automatic shutdown) against overheating,
overload, short circuit and empty load.
Switching the power off and on again will
reset the transformer.
How it works:
 On/Off: Short push (50—400ms)
on the switch.
 Stepless dimming: Long push (>400ms) on
the switch
 For fine tuning of light level: With every

2 long push, the light level goes the
opposite direction.
 Built with memory function: The light will
return to the same dimming level when
switched off and on again.

Avoid high temperatures. Exposure to high
temperatures over long periods of time will
shorten the life span of the transformer.
Användning
Endast för bruk med 12V halogenljuskällor.
Trafon är ämnad för halogenarmaturer i Klass
III.
Trafon används inomhus (IP20).
Trafon kan monteras på brännbart underlag,
som t.ex trä.
Säkerhet
230V-ledningar och 12V-ledningar får inte
korsas och ledningarna får ej monteras
parallellt med trafon (se figur 2).
Det kan uppstå brandfarliga situationer om
det blir för hög strömstryka genom
ledningarna.
Armatur och trafo får inte täckas med
isoleringsmaterial.
Trafon skall inte placeras i inbyggnadsbox ihop
med downlights (figur 3).
Avståndet mellan transformatorerna måste
vara minst 200mm för at undvika
elektromagnetiska störningar.
Trafon är utrustad med en termo-säkring. Om
den aktiveras bör trafon slås av och avkylas
innan den slås på igen. Dålig ventilation och
hög omgivningstemperatur förkortar livstiden
på trafon.
SwitchDIM
HT5300, HT5210, HT5150 and HT5105 är
utrustade med inbyggd switchDIM funktion.
Endast en kabel (ledare eller nolla) behöver
kopplas till “switch-dim plinten” (se figur 1).
Det är ingen begränsning i längd gällande
switch-dim kabeln.
Så fungerar det:
 På/Av: Kort tryck (50—400ms) på brytaren.
 Steglös dimring: Långt tryck (>400ms) på
brytaren
 För finjustering av ljuset: Med varje 2:a
långa tryckning, så går ljusnivån antingen
upp eller ner.

Minnesfunktion: Ljuset går tillbaka till
samma nivå vid aktivering som det hade
vid avstängning.
Installation
Transformatorn måste installeras av en
kvalificerad elektriker.
Se tabellen ovan för ledningslängder och
min. och max. belastning
Se till att skruva åt kopplings-plintarna
ordentligt.
