good reviews on his plays. Some including, Romeo and
Juliet, Lover’s Labors Lost, A Midsummer Night’s

spent writing Hamlet. Dark years for Shakespeare.
0 1609: Shakespeare’s collection of 154 sonnets are
published
0 1613: Shakespeare finishes his last plays, Henry VIII,

0 150 years after his death,
critics question if Shakespeare
had the “intellectual
perceptiveness or poetic
power” to be able to write such
beautiful masterpieces.
However the majority of
scholars agree that it was in
fact his work.
0 Shakespeare’s work is timeless.
He is able to relate and
individually touch each
reader/viewer no matter what
time period. This makes his
legacy live on through his
work.
