SEX & Self-Respect
Character Application
Character is who you are on the inside.
It’s how you act and think when no one
else is around. One part of healthy
character development is self-respect.
Respect for yourself begins with the idea
that you are valuable and worthy. We’ve
seen how sexual relationships before
marriage often lower self-respect in
both people. The emotional pain can cause
a downward spiral of feelings.
