THE POTTER’S HOUSE PRESENTS THE MEDICAL MINISTRY The Medical Ministry was established to provide Health Services to The Potter’s House and the community. MISSION To provide quality healthy services known as E’s and T 1. Execution of First Aid Services during event gatherings of the congregants and community 2. Engagement of the congregants/community towards their improved health status and wellness 3. Education of the congregants/community regarding health issues 4. Empowerment of the community of believers to make better health decisions 5. Transformation into the temples God created us to become MEETINGS / NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS The Medical Ministry meets monthly on the 4th Saturday from 8:45a.m. – 10:30a.m. The Medical Ministry has approximately 35 volunteers serving the ministry, but the number changes monthly when new members join. TRAINING/ORIENTATION The Ministry provides •Quarterly Full Orientations •Mini-Orientations •Review of Policy and Procedure Manual •Drills of frequently occurring incidents VOLUNTEER CRITERIA Minimal Basic First Aid Certification 2 Arms Clinical Background Doctors, Dentists, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Medical Assistants & CNA Non-Clinical Administrative Support INVOLVEMENT WITH OTHER MINISTRIES We provide First Aid services at events hosted by other Ministries as well as the PH Event Center (eg; Collaborations with MegaCARE and the Golden Vessels) Future Plans: Share health information with other ministries ENCOUNTER FORM DALLAS/N.
