What is employee wellbeing?
• Wellbeing is more than physical health
• Health = A state of complete physical, mental and social wellbeing and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity
(WHO, 1946).
• Employee wellbeing = creation of an positive and healthy
environment to promote a state of satisfaction which allows
an employee to flourish and achieve their full potential for
the benefit of themselves and their organization (CIPD).
