The magnetostrictive principle, non-contact, offers very high performance and linearity combined with extreme long lifetime. The GYLT sensor is easy to mount and install in cylinders. It offer you strokes up to 3000 mm and current output, 4-20 mA. Other models offer up to 7500 mm and other outputs (analogue or digital). There are two different shapes; cylindrical and U-shaped. All sensors are delivered with a standard magnet that differs between models. Please see each datasheet for details. When a different magnet than standard is needed, please refer to the table below.
