LINEPULS Magnetic Measuring Systems
• The system is composed by a magnetic tape with
alternated north-south poles
• A sensor, sensitive to magnetic fields, moves
contactless along the tape
• The sensor converts the magnetic field in a sinusoidal
electric signal
• With 2 sensors in phase delay of a 1/4 of period a sin
+ cos signal is obtained
• The resulting signals are interpolated to obtain the
required resolution (PPR/mm)
• The same principle is also suitable to rotary
transducers (circular magnets)
