The goat boat is also called the Nordmøre boat, and is said to be the crowning achievement in Norwegian boat building. We have about 40 boats in the museum. The oldest is from the 1700's. The crowning achievement in Norwegian boat building The Goat Boat museum The Goat Boat museum is a department of the Nordmøre museum, the specialty is clinker-built boats from Nordmøre. We show the old boats, but it is equally important to us to continue the traditions. Beside the museum, there is the Goat Boat Museum Foundation's production and development department, Husasnotra.
