美国地调局地球物理与地震专家、项目首席科学家

国际著名深部地球物理专家，现为美国地调局印度洋海啸系统的负责人，中美地震科技合作计划首席协调员。长期从事美国重
大深部探测计划——COCORP、EarthScope的研究与组织工作，积累了大量实践经验。主要研究领域为全球地壳结构与板块构造
研究，特别是大陆岩石圈结构的研究。于1994-1997年间作为美国地质调查局在北美、南美及全球的首席地震地质学家和项目协
调员,带领多个研究团队从事全球地球物理研究项目。是斯坦福大学、莱兹大学、巴黎大学等多所名校的特聘教授和顾问。

美国地调局地球物理学家、项目首席科学家
Chief Geophysicist of the USGS
国际著名位场理论及应用研究专家，多年从事用综合地球物理方法解决地质和构造问题方面的研究。
主编的《Potential theory in gravity and magnetic applications》一书，被视为勘探地球物理学
领域中的经典教科书。AGU和SEG资深会员，美国地质调查局首席地球物理学家和地壳动力学方向的首
席科学家。
国际著名地质学家，其主要研究领域是用地质年代学、岩石地球化学和岩石学进行构造地质学研究，
以揭示地球动力学原理。历任IUGS大地构造委员会秘书长、ILP第三工作组主席、国际地球科学计
划（IGCP）280项目“地球最老的岩石”项目负责人等。同时担任《前寒武板块构造运动》、《太
古代地球化学》等十份特别期刊的主编。
