About 100 Best HRM Awards
The 100 Best HR Management Companies is the most prestigious event focused on
the evaluation of human resource management in China and sponsored by 51job, Inc
(NASDAQ: JOBS) , the largest HR service provider in the country. Companies are
identified through initial screening comprising of thousands of companies, which is
followed by data collection from and detailed analysis of hundreds of candidate
companies. We believe this is one of the most comprehensive, in-depth and farreaching awards in the field of human resources.
The selection process of the 100 Best HR Management Companies not only
recognizes those outstanding companies in the field of HR management, but also seek
the best HR solutions to promote development of employees and improve work
efficiency, as well as the HR management methods to respond to market changes and
support enterprisers transitions. Following the example and influence of the model
enterprises and HR professionals, more enterprises can improve their HR management
strategies, upgrade their HR management methods and technology, and improve staff
quality and enhance their business competitiveness.
2011 Best HRM Awards
In 2011, China surpassed Japan to become the second largest economy in the world, but
Chinese people remain nervous about the life enhancement and further economic
development. Growth has been weakening but inflation is accelerating by now. The
market is uncertainty, highlighting the complexity and social conflicts than ever before. .
All of these pose the significant challenges on human resource management today. As
our studies, employers have to pay wages 10% higher to retain their work force, but it is
still hard to make employees feel better about their jobs.
100 Best HRM of Awards of 2011 focus on the leading employers who create a
dynamic and effective workplace, help their employees, esp. Internet born generation to
embed employee engagement and a value culture of zeal that guarantees improved
performance, organizational integrity and sustainability, finding out how corporate
culture could support the business inovation, sucessfully win competitive advantage
through attracting and retaining qualified talents.
Accreditation Process (I)
We utilize a unique selection process for the 100 Best HRM Companies. The process
consists of two elements. Organizations need only participate in the stages that they are
specifically interested in, and for which they meet eligibility criteria.
The Awards for the 100 Best HRM Companies of 2011 are as follows:
Participating Company: Complete a nomination questionnaire and send it to
[email protected] before July. 31, 2011
51job: Collect, aggregate and analyze data/statistics; conduct telephone interviews with
some companies
Selection criteria:
① Establish an average value based on the results of the statistical and analytical data and
select the best model companies
② Professional analysis by judges
Accreditation Process (II)
9 award categories: Each category has no more than 8 selections; Applicants must
participate in the 100 Best HRM Companies.
Participating Company : choose three award categories at most, complete the category
application questionnaire, provide the relevant case.
51job: select some of candidate companies visit and interview,
Selection criteria:
① chief category judge’s evaluation and comments
② integrated assessment and comments from other judges
③ information and data from completed questionnaires
There is a discretional 70% of the company’s category score that comes from judges’ comments and the remaining 30% from
questionnaires. The judges will use their experience to evaluate and select the winners in each category in an impartial, balanced
and fair manner.

Accreditation Process (III)
Outstanding Contribution to HR
This award celebrates a leading HR figure that has contributed much to the
HR industry. Though there are no defined parameters the judges will be
acknowledging someone who has actively advanced the profession, served as
a coach and mentor to others, put the interests of organizational HR at the top
of their priorities and who has consistently 'worked wonders' within the
profession of HR.

MPE- Most Popular Employer
The awards winners of “Most Popular Employer” is ranked based on votes and
recommendations from employees. We pay special attention to 9 major industries as

This year, we circulate the questionnaires to in-service staff and graduates, according to
the number of votes for each industry selected six “most popular employer”. Personal
access to the award of the page, complete the questionnaires, the candidate of the nine
industry business vote. Personal are also given the opportunity to write in the name of
any company they would like to work for that did not appear on the list. The rankings
are based upon how many times a company was selected as six of 20 well-known
employers. The voting shall be over September 30, the final list will be announced on
Oct. 10. In-service personnel to vote on hrawards.51job.com, students can vote on
