Xycarb Ceramics in rouw om overlijden medewerker na bedrijfsongeval
Op woensdag 13 augustus, 2014 zijn twee medewerkers van Xycarb Ceramics onwel
geraakt tijdens onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan een reinigingsinstallatie. Ter plaatse is
hulpverlening geboden, waarna beide medewerkers naar het ziekenhuis zijn
overgebracht voor nadere behandeling.
Helaas verslechterde de toestand van één van beide medewerkers gedurende de dag.
Zojuist hebben wij het droevige bericht ontvangen dat onze gewaardeerde collega is
overleden. De toestand van onze andere collega blijft kritiek.
Onze aandacht gaat nu, en de komende periode uit naar de familie, direct betrokken
collega’s en Xycarb’s medewerkers. Onze eerste prioriteit is het steunen van
betrokkenen en het geven van de volledige medewerking aan de autoriteiten die de
exacte oorzaak van het ongeval gaan onderzoeken.
Directie en medewerkers willen via deze weg hun medeleven en steun betuigen aan
familie en vrienden van onze overleden collega. We wensen hen veel steun en kracht
met het verwerken van dit enorme verlies.

Xycarb Ceramics in mourning after passing of employee during company
accident
On Wednesday, the 13th of August, two employees of Xycarb Ceramics have become
unwell during a maintenance job at one of the cleaning installations. First aid was
given on location after which both employees were transported in critical condition to
local hospitals for further treatment.
Regrettably the situation of one of our employees worsened during the day. We have
just received the sad news that our valued colleague has passed away.
The condition of our other colleague remains critical.
Our primary concern now and coming period goes out to the family, direct involved
colleagues and Xycarb employees. Our first priority is to support the people involved
and to provide full cooperation to the authorities who are investigating the exact
cause of the accident.
The management and employees of Xycarb Ceramics would like to express their
deepest sympathy and support to the family and friends of our deceased colleague.
We wish them much support and strength in coming to terms with this tremendous
loss.
