Moderator: Erik Lahnstein, Director of the Norwegian Forest Owners’ F ­ ederation Strategic decisions taken today will be decisive for the roles played by different countries and industrial communities in the future bioeconomy. Participants at the seminar Boreal Forest in the Climate System and ­Bioeconomy to be held on 17 September include the Norwegian Minister of ­Climate and Environment and several of the Nordic region’s foremost scientists. They will be presenting the most up-to-date information on the role of Nordic forests in combating climate change and the potential industrial opportunities inherent in the green transformation.
