The system delivers high quality water for use in factory’s cooling towers. In Australia, we installed a system to produce water for the rinsing of bottles with high purity water prior to fill with wine, meeting all stringent food industry regulations. Our HURRRICANE Aerator, perfect for SBR applications, provided the combined pattern of fine bubble aeration and spiral mixing to achieve reliable oxygen transfer to a P&G facility to manufacture shampoo and other consumer products. We used anaerobic-aerobic wastewater treatment plants in Italian breweries to produce methane gas, energy, and thermal energy from waste. We treated the majority of power plants in Israel with reverse osmosis and electro deionization to produce high purity water for boilers. 7 CONFIDENTIAL RWL WATER GROUP Significant Track Record with EPCs & Corporations Track record with leading Engineering, Procurement & Construction companies as well as industrials in variety of sectors SECTORS: Pulp & Paper Oil & Gas Mining Power Food & Beverage Consumer Products Aquaculture Agriculture Military Groundwater, Reservoirs Municipal SELECT MAJOR CLIENTS: 8 CONFIDENTIAL RWL WATER GROUP Our Solutions in Industries RWL WATER INDUSTRIES OIL & GAS MINING POWER FOOD & BEVERAGE 9 CONFIDENTIAL RWL WATER GROUP Mining Industry RWL Water delivers solutions in the mining industry, where its packaged plants and wastewater purification systems provide clean water at an affordable price. OIL & GAS Our Capabilities in the Mining Industry: Providing pure process water for mines Delivering compact, containerized and convenient wastewater treatment Meeting the challenge of mining effluents Maximizing reuse and reducing discharge Designing portable, robust, reusable and easy-to-operate wastewater treatment plants Purifying water from any source for mining camp operations 10 CONFIDENTIAL RWL WATER GROUP Power Industry RWL Water delivers solutions in the power industry, where its energy efficient water treatment systems help create clean and reliable power generation and cooling. OIL & GAS Our customers trust us to provide high quality, reliable and cost efficient operating water systems to their power facilities. We provide pure water and wastewater treatment and custom design our solutions using state-of-the-art water treatment technologies. Our solutions include: providing capital equipment, turnkey systems and build own operate plants. 11 CONFIDENTIAL RWL WATER GROUP Food & Beverage Industry OIL & GAS RWL Water’s wide range of technologies and processing plants provide treatment for wine, fruit juices, meat processing, whey sugar cane and more. We enhance customers’ products and treat incoming ingredient water and outgoing process water. Product Enhancement Processes: Demineralization of fruit juices, Recovery of organic acids & natural fruit colors, Tartaric stabilization, Decolorizing, Debittering, Chromatography Ingredient Water Treatment: Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, Ion exchange, UV, Ozone and Advanced oxidation Wastewater Treatment Solutions: Anaerobic digestion (Outcome: methane gas, thermal heat, low odor and less waste material), Membrane bioreactors, Moving bed bioreactors, Aerobic & Anaerobic systems, Nitrification & Denitrification 12 CONFIDENTIAL AEROMIX Case Study Camp Victory Base, Baghdad, Iraq Challenge: Need to provide clean water for human and agricultural purposes. Application: Wastewater Package Plant Solution: Install wastewater package plants to handle 2 million gallons per day (315 m3 /hr). Equipment: Welded steel tank design with special coating for extended life. Completely assembled, pre-plumbed and pre-wired for immediate and low cost installation and start-up. Process design produces excellent effluent with little operator attention 13 CONFIDENTIAL AEROMIX Case Study Procter & Gamble, Mariscala Plant, Mexico Challenge: P&G built a state of the art facility, which included a wastewater treatment plant, to manufacture different consumer products. The plant’s removal of soluble organic matter did not comply with regulations. Application: HURRICANE® Submersible Aerator Solution: 10HP HURRICANE® Aerators Equipment: The stainless steel submersible HURRICANE® Aerator is ideal for a Sequenching Batch Reactor (SBR). The Aerator was capable of providing the combined pattern of fine bubble aeration and spiral mixing that was necessary to achieve reliable oxygen transfer. It’s compact size was suitable for the P&G plant. Since installation, there have been no problems with the aerators. 14 CONFIDENTIAL NIROSOFT Case Study Moni Facility, Limassol, Cyprus Challenge: Water shortage in Cyprus Treatment Process: Ultrafiltration membranes, seawater reverse osmosis with energy recovery, and remineralization Supply: 22,000 m3 per day (4,000 gpm) Finance: Three-year BOOT project Speed: 8 months from order to supply of water Mobility: The containerized plant can be moved at the end of the project 15 NIROSOFT Case Study Makteshim Chemical Works, Israel Challenge: Need to reuse treated effluent instead of sending it to evaporated ponds Treatment Process: Reverse Osmosis, effluent desalination, and MBR biological treatment Supply: 2,400 m3 per day (370 GPM) Cost Savings: The reuse of recycled water eliminated the need to establish two new evaporation ponds and has already saved the factory an estimated $12 million. 16 NIROSOFT Case Study Desire Flora Rose Farm, Kenya Challenge: The existing feed water for the Rose farm had high levels of sodium and chloride which was unsuitable for irrigating the roses grown at the farm. Treatment Process: Nirosoft designed and manufactured a brackish water desalination system, reducing the total dissolved solids from 750ppm to less than 50ppm Supply: 40 m3 per hour (150 GPM) Cost Savings: Nirosoft has supplied similar systems to Dozens of farmers worldwide 17 EUROTEC Case Study Brewery, Bari, Italy Challenge: Produce energy from waste with brewery production of 53 Million gallons/year, waste water flow rate of 2,500 m3 per day (380 gpm), and COD levels of 5,000 mg/L Treatment: Anaerobic-Aerobic wastewater treatment plant Process: Sludge from the primary clarifier and the aerobic plant is digested in a sludge anaerobic digester to reduce the sludge production Production: Methane: 3,700 Energy: 14,000 Thermal: 15,000 Nm3/day Kwh/day Kwh/day 18 EUROTEC Case Study Slaughter House, Verona, Italy Challenge: Produce energy from waste with slaughter production of 220,000 chickens/day, 30,000 turkeys/day, flow rate of 6,000 m3 per day, and COD levels of 4,000 mg/L Treatment: Anaerobic-Aerobic wastewater treatment plant Process: The process chain is composed of buffer tank, feeding of organic polyelectrolyte and ferric chloride, air flotation system, anaerobic digester of floated primary sludge, treatment of ammonia, organic nitrogen and residual COD after air flotation pretreatment Production: Methane: 6,000 Energy: 24,000 Thermal: 27,000 Nm3/day Kwh/day Kwh/day 19 CONTACT Tel: (212) 572-5700 | Fax: (212) 572-5704 | info@rwlwater.com | www.rwlwater.com The water droplets above represent RWL Water Group’s major installations throughout the world. 20 Contact Information Peter Gross President & CEO AEROMIX Systems, Inc.
