(PRES), universities, engineering and management schools, as well as with
other research organizations

has set up 15 joint research units and 48 associated research laboratories with
businesses.
I With a portfolio of 4,521 patent families, CNRS is among France’s top 10 patent

I 704 start-ups have been launched since 2000, stemming from research carried
out in CNRS laboratories
I CNRS plays an active role in France’s 14 technology transfer companies (SATT)
