About ICM
ICM is a holding company that owns HSG and CodeBlue. ICM is leading the insurance industry in creating novel and innovative
solutions for administering auto glass and property claims on behalf of property and casualty insurance carriers. HSG offers
reductions in overall severity and administrative costs by providing competitive pricing and delivering superior value and excellent
service to policyholders. CodeBlue is a Third Party Administrator (TPA) delivering the only comprehensive end-to-end property claim
solutions in the industry. CodeBlue is unique in combining science and technology to ensure the highest levels of customer
service, while also providing significant value to our insurance partners. CodeBlue currently has 8 patents pending. Under the
CodeBlue umbrella, we have three distinct product lines, including Water Mitigation (providing a robust platform for handling
claims and mitigating the loss): Contents (providing competitive replacement values via our proprietary database); and Salvage
(recovering retained value for our insurance partners on slightly damaged goods). CodeBlue operates the largest vendor network of
restoration contractors in the USA.
Top Challenges/Accomplishments/Best Practices During the Last 12 Months
Challenges:
• Helping facilitate a paradigm shift within the insurance community for handling property claims – from the old “passive” way of
processing claims to a new “active” process which manages claims in real-time and yields significant financial and operational
results.
•Competing with the significantly negative impact of the economic crisis on the insurance claims volume for auto glass, including
reduced claim counts.
•Continuing to pursue the sales process while many insurance companies are undergoing significant restructuring and realignment
to address the current economic climate – often impacting their ability to take on new projects or programs.
Accomplishments:
•Strong progress has been made in taking market share in the property claims space due to significant competitive advantage of
CodeBlue and our product platform.
•Continue to grow the auto glass business through acquisition of accounts from key competitors.
Best Practices:
•CodeBlue Water Mitigation is the only competitor in the industry using patented technology to actively manage claims in real-time.
•CodeBlue Salvage Goods is the only competitor in the industry offering an end-to-end solution which provides hassle-free revenue
recovery on damaged goods.
•CodeBlue Contents is the only competitor in the industry offering the most comprehensive solution – with the quickest turnaround
time of 48 hours real-time - in the competitive replacement pricing of content claims.
