Congress Concept
The integrated goal “Safe, Convenient, and Green Mobility” aims at
enhancing the current ITS/telematics towards the more advanced one.
This goal can be achieved through three strategies – Ubiquity,
Transparency and Trustabilty in the 17th ITS World Congress, Busan in
2010.

It is recommended that:
• APEC Members be encouraged to more actively participate in ISO
TC204 and related standardization activities
• APEC TPT Members strengthen the collaborative works with
ISO/TC204 and identify future work items:
– APEC TPT Members share information and experiences on
ubiquity and nomadic device oriented technologies for
transportation sector
– APEC TPT Members identify priority areas to cooperate to
enhance regional harmonization
• Future Joint Workshop
• e.g: Public Transit, Electronic Payment, Emergency
