Bright students are being deprived of their professional training. Present status of staff position for Library One librarian and one library assistant are manning the library. Request for sanction of addition post is pending with the Govt. since long. Students of Kalyani Govt. Engineering College are being deprived of proper library facility. Opportunities The institute can play a leading role in research, training, academics and consultancy in the state. Threats The institute is to attract good talent in competition with other government financed and self financed institutes. But poor infrastructure is dragging the institute behind.
