The Program of Study for Grades 11&12 shall follow the program format implemented at the High School . Subjects are offered on a school year basis. Classes start in June and end in March/April. Credit units shall be assigned per subject. 2. The Program of Study offers a menu of Core Subjects, Electives and Apprenticeship. 2.1 Core Subjects shall include English, Filipino, Math, Science, and P.E. The Core Subjects are considered as tools for learning. These subjects shall develop the general skills of the students. Social Science will be integrated in the Core Subjects and Electives where found relevant. 7 2.2 Electives are offered in Grades 11 and 12. The students are given the option to select their electives. The Electives lead to the development of the students’ interests/aptitudes/ specializations on the different tracks/streams/strands: academic, tech-voc skills, sports and arts, and local/community needs-based. 2.3 In general, Apprenticeship is offered on the last two(2) grading periods of Grade 12.
