What Horizon 2020 theme(s) fits your living lab?
…Horizon 2020 themes:
• Industrial Leadership
• Societal challenges
• Excellent Science
Gaia’s Living Labs have connections with all three themes. First of all,
we pursue industrial leadership in the Basque Country as our mission,
and we try to address societal challenges like, aging society, low
carbon emission, smart cities, etc. in all 5 living labs. Finally, we also try
to support excellent science in, for example, Bird Living Lab
participating in European projects as testers and opening promising
new fields and innovation through our collaboration.
What is your living lab all about?
…initial story
Our story in ENoLL started in 2010 with our first 3
Living Labs (BIRD LL, SPORTIS Lab and Mobility) in
the European Network of Living Labs.
We started our promotion organizing workshops
which aims was to inform local governments,
research institutes, companies and universities,
about the potential of the Living Labs and the
methodology behind them.
Finish with your ambitions
…we are looking for collaboration opportunities with
other European Countries in the Horizon 2020 themes of
competitive industries and societal challenges.
And become consortium partner in calls related to:
Climate change
Energy efficiency
Food security
Transport
Aging Society
Etc.
