User friendly software that works
The software is designed to do it all for you, and with the easy to use button
interface, accessing all the features, is now just a click away. All the trip
information can be viewed as a list of events in a spreadsheet format, a series
of graphs representing speed and acceleration or as a route on a map. Any
report can be generated either using the custom reporting function or by
exporting the data to an Excel spreadsheet. Limitless ability to add vehicle
details, calculate fuel costs, log business mileage, track driver activity and
much more are all features of the easy to use software. Each trip driven is now
unique in colour as to make it easier for the operator to differentiate the trips.

Free Map-set
Included with the software is a free map-set of
South Africa. This means that right out the box
you can start using the system without having to
pay for a map-set or license fee. If you wish to
upgrade the mapping to include other information
or areas outside South Africa the Digit system is
compatible with Garmin maps. A number of free
maps, available for download from the worldwide-web, work with the Digit software and cover
Europe and the Americas too.

Vehicle Detail
All vehicle details can be loaded on the
system, including make, models, usual
driver and start odometer. By adding
the service interval you can keep an eye
on mileage and know when the vehicle
is due for a service without even going
near it. Perfect for those monitoring and
managing their vehicles remotely.

Print Reports
Any report or map view can be printed
with the click of a button. Imagine
submitting your entire years travel
expenses with the click of a button. The
system can keep a log of all your
business and private mileage and
reports can be modified to exclude
private information, like maximum
speed travelled. Any map view can also
be printed and the WYSIWYG rule
applies.

Trip Details
A right click on any trip offers you more
information and details of the trip
including acceleration and braking
trends and all the speed samples.
These can be sorted by clicking on the
columns and trends of poor driving
styles can be shown and printed.

Driver Identification
Using the reliable Dallas Tag i-button
system you can identify who drove which
vehicle and when. During live tracking the
current driver will be displayed. Trip
reports will also show who drove the
vehicle on any particular day so allocating
traffic offences becomes possible.

Licence type and expiry
PDP type and expiry
Pay Number
Cell Number etc.

Verified live tracking
Knowing where your vehicles are, is key to your operational safety, efficiency
and service offering. While other systems only represent the last known
position, Digit will constantly confirm how old the data is, making you 100%
sure that you are viewing real time positions. During live tracking one can view
multiple vehicles and be notified of them leaving or entering predefined zones
via on-screen alerts or email.

On the Garmin
• The Garmin will sound a tone and a flag will
appear in the corner of the screen, indicating
instructions have arrived.
By pressing on the
flag, the Garmin will
show the sent text
and offer an options
menu
Marked arrival point
A blue double circle will
appear indicating where
the vehicle was
despatched to.
Pointing at the circles will
display which vehicle is
on it’s way here.
To cancel a Job right
click on the vehicle
Registration and select
“Cancel Job”
Checking the address
Go to system preferences,
in the Google settings TAB
select Reverse Geocode
As you right click the
address should appear at
the top of the menu.
This may take a few
seconds and depends on
your internet speed.
