Philips Lightolier's downlight product line has been the choice of designers, contractors and
distributors since 1952. Since the inception of Calculite LED in 2009, Lightolier has continued
that path with LED, combining proven lighting, mechanical, and optical expertise with state of
the art LED expertise. This strong combination allows us to bring you the right solution for the

Defining Commercial Downlighting
Philips Lightolier defines the Commercial LED downlighting product category with LyteProfile.
LyteProfile utilizes state of the art mid-flux LED technology to provide a highly efficient family of
downlighting luminaires that provides a smooth source of illumination. The product line delivers
up to 90lm/w at the emitted luminaire level while providing a comfortable 60° cut-off to both the
actual and reflected source.
Cutting edge technology employs the latest in thermal management and significantly reduces the
size and physical material employed in the luminaire. The product family utilizes a robust Frame-in
Kit + Light Engine + Reflector design that is designed for a wide variety of installation conditions and
has a maximum plenum depth of 4.5”.

Key Features and Benefits:
• Performance: This fully integrated LED luminaire design from Philips Lightolier
provides nearly 90lm/w, is designed for 50,000 hours rated life₁ and has a 5 year system
warranty₂. The 6” LyteProfile is Energy Star Rated₃.
• Innovative Design: Latest technology in LED design and integrated thermal
management provide a quality offering that is simple and sophisticated. The integrated
design delivers the shallow housing and the smooth even illumination.
• Simple versatility: Designed to meet typical commercial lighting requirements with
choices of 1000 lm, 1500 lm downlight or lensed wall wash in either a 4" or 6"
apertures; and up to 2000 lm in the 6" aperture. It is also available in 2700K, 3000K,
3500K, and 4000K. Three component system design enables easy servicing plus
upgradeability.

Defining General Purpose Downlighting
Philips Lightolier will define the General Purpose LED downlighting product category with
LyteCaster LED Downlights. This new downlight family will utilize state of the art mid-flux LED
technology to provide a highly efficient family of downlight luminaires that will provide a smooth
source of illumination. The family will deliver up to 70lm/w at the emitted luminaire level while
providing a comfortable 70° cut-off to both the actual and reflected source.
LyteCaster LED Downlights will be the ideal general purpose downlighting solution, providing
comfortable, quality light in any space. LyteCaster LED Downlight product family utilizes a robust
Frame-in kit + Light Engine + Reflector design that is designed for a wide variety of installation
conditions and has a maximum plenum depth of 3.5”.
The contractor-friendly housing offers tool-less installation, offset apertures and pivoting mounting
bars for fast, easy and reliable installations.
Dimmable LyteCaster LED Downlights are ideal for use in:

Defining General Purpose Recessed Accent
Philips Lightolier will simplify the small aperture recessed accent and downlight market. The
Lytecaster Recessed Accent family will provide the flexibility and versatility of options needed to
meet most small aperture needs. Utilizing the latest LED chip on board technology from Lumileds
Lytecast Accent combines energy efficiency with the required beam control to add depth and
ambiance in any space. The family will deliver up to 68lm/w at the emitted luminaire level.
Recessed accent trims will allow up to a 35o aiming angle.
LyteCaster LED Recessed Accents are the ideal small aperture accent and downlighting solution,
providing comfortable, quality light in any space. The LyteCaster LED family offers a luminaire height
of 3 ½”, which is lower than a typical luminaire to conserve valuable plenum space.
The contractor-friendly housing offers tool-less installation, offset apertures and pivoting mounting
bars for fast, easy and reliable installations.
Dimmable LyteCaster LED Recessed Accents are ideal for use in:
