Father’s day (父親節)
• 1910 by Sonora Smart Dodd – driving
force, after hearing Ana Jarvis who
promoted mother’s day (母親節的啟示)
• 1913 President Wilson proposed but
was rejected (美總統對國會的建議被拒)
• 1966 President Johnson issued first
proclaiming to honor father on the 3rd
Sunday of June (國會終於通過)
神試驗亞伯拉罕
• 經文：創22：1-15
• 這些事以後，神要試驗亞伯拉罕，就呼叫他說： “亞伯
拉罕！”他說：”我在這裏。”
• 神說:“你帶著你的兒子，就是你獨生的兒子，你所愛的以
撒，往摩f亞地去，在我所指定的山上，把他獻為燔祭。”
• 亞伯拉罕清早起來，備上驢，帶看兩個僕人和他兒子以撒，
也劈好了燔祭的柴，就起身往神所指示他的地方去了。
• 到了第三日，亞伯拉罕舉目遠遠地看到那地方。
• 亞伯拉罕對他的僕人說：“你們和驢在此等，我與童子往
那裹去拜一拜，就回到你們這裹來。”
神試驗亞伯拉罕
• 亞伯拉罕把燔祭的柴放在他兒子以撒身上，
自己手裏拿著火與刀，於是二人同行。
• 以撒對他父親亞伯拉罕說：“父親哪! ” 亞
伯拉罕說：“我兒，我在這裏。
• 以撒說：“請看，火與柴都有了，但燔祭的
羊羔在那裏呢？”亞伯拉罕說：“我兒，神
必自己預備作燔祭的羊羔。”於是二人同行
神試驗亞伯拉罕
• 他們到了神所指示的地方，亞伯拉罕在裏築壇，
把柴擺好，捆綁他的兒子以撒，放在壇的柴上。
• 亞拉罕就伸手拿刀，要殺他的兒子。
• 耶和華的使者，從天上呼叫呼叫他說：“亞伯拉
罕！亞伯拉罕！“他說：”我在這裹。”
• 天使說： “你不可在這童子身上下手，一點不可
害 他。現在我知道你是敬畏神的了，因為你沒有
將你的兒子，就是你獨生的兒子，留下不給我。”
神試驗亞伯拉罕
• 亞伯拉罕舉目觀看，不料，有一隻公羊，.兩
角扣在稠密的小樹中，亞伯拉罕至就取了那
隻公羊來，獻為燔祭，代替他的兒子。
• 亞伯拉罕就取了那隻公羊來，獻為燔祭，代
替他的兒子。亞伯拉罕給那地方起名叫“耶
和華以勒”(意思就是“耶和華必頂備.’).直
到今日還有人說：:“在耶和華的山上必有預
備。”
神試驗亞伯拉罕
• 耶和華的使者第二次從天上呼叫亞伯拉罕
說：耶和華說：’你既行了這事，不留下
你的兒子，就是你獨生的兒子，我便指著
自己起誓說：論福，我必賜大福給你；論
子孫，我必叫你的子孫多起來，如同天上
的星，海邊的沙。你子孫必得著仇敵的城
門。
• 並且地上萬國都必因你的後裔得福，因為
你聽從了我的話。”
亞伯拉罕
• 本居住在吾珥(慕該亞mugayyer)，當時是全
世界最繁榮的都市之一。
• 他在人類墮落2000年、洪水後400年後蒙召。
• 他生在拜月神及其妻 (Nina)的吾珥，但因不
拜偶像，遭受逼迫。
• 從神直接的啟示，成為獨一上帝的朋友。
亞伯拉罕
• 蒙召時神應許他三件事
– 他的後裔要承受迦南為業
• 後裔要像天上的星、海邊的沙那麼多
– 他們要成為大國
– 列國都因他們得福

亞伯拉罕
• 蒙召後，要離開本地、本族、父家，到神
指示的地方(創12：1) 。
• 他往哈蘭幾年後，遷徙到迦南地。
• 他75歲到迦南，86歲生以實瑪利，100歲生
以撒，175歲逝世。
• 他死後115年，雅各後裔才下埃及。

神試驗亞伯拉罕
• 神試驗他，
– 不是要捉弄他，使他跌倒
– 而是增強對神的順服，建立品格
• 正如用火把礦沙煉淨一樣
• 神藉艱難的環境熬煉我們，不埋怨神
• 祂要鍛煉我們的品格
God tested Abraham
• Not to trip him and watch him fall
• To deepen his capacity to obey God and
develop character (加強對神信心的品格)
• Just as fire refines ore to extract precious
metal.(成為貴重的器皿)
• God refines us through difficulties
(試鍊中見神)
• When we are tested
– We can complain or
– Try to see how God stretching us to develop
character.
Abraham greatest act
• He began to have the greatest act of obedience in
the recorded history –(信心最大的考驗)
• He traveled 50 miles to Mount Moria— 往摩亞山上
• He learned many tough lessons –importance of
obeying God—全然順服
• Obedience—giving up something we truly want
順服—為主捨棄我的至愛.
Why did God ask Abraham to
perform human sacrifice
• Heathen nations practiced human sacrifice
異教有此習俗，
• God condemned it as a terrible sin (Leviticus
20:1-5) 神斥責此為罪，不願此祭
• God did not want Abraham to sacrifices Isaac
• God wanted to clear Abraham love Him more
than his long waited Isaac 愛神的心勝過一切
• Testing is strengthen our character & deepen
our commitment 試餗帶來堅貞的品格
Trust & obey (信靠與順服)
• Abraham strengthened his commitment
to obey God (加強對神的順服)
• He also learned God’s ability to provide
(神即時的供應)
• If we give God what He asks, His return
is far more than we could dream
(神的恩典超乎我們所想所夢的)
• Spiritual blessings far outweigh our
sacrifice (屬靈的說福超乎我們能擺上的)
信心
• 來11：17-19
• 亞伯拉罕信心如山，深信以獨生子以撒為
繙祭，神能叫祂從死裡復活。
• 神在最後關頭阻止他下手，以撒如同死裡
復活，祭牲以一隻公羊代替

羔羊取代以撒，神以自己的兒子代我＋架慘死
• God stopped Abraham for his son
• God did not spare his own son, dying on the cross
神甘心以兒子耶穌代替我死亡
• If Jesus had lived, humankind would have die
因
主的死我才能得活—何等高深難測的愛
• For God so love the world that He gave His only
begotten son, that whoever believes in him should
not be perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16)
神的愛世人！
以弗所書 Ephesians (6：1-3)
• 你們作兒女的，要在主裏聽從(obey)父母，
這是理所當然的。要孝敬(honor)父母，使
你得福，在世長壽，這是第一條帶應許的
誡命。
• Children should obey parents
• Children should honor parents
Ephesians 6:1-3
• Children, obey your parents in the Lord,
for this is right (主裏聽從父母).
• Honor your father and mother—which
is the first commandment with a
promise(要孝敬父母)
• That it may go well with you and that
you may enjoy long life on the earth
( 使你得福，在世長壽).
作兒女的
• 在主裏聽從父母(in the Lord)—在敬畏神的
原則下，聽從父母。
• 孝順父母(honor parents)
– 少年時期：應聽從父母
– 成長以後：要尊敬父母，照顧關懷
Children (兒女)
• Obey: to do as told (聽從順服)
– Children are to obey while under
parents
– Adult children are not asked to be
subservient(卑屈), not be domineering
(盛氣凌人)or (arrogant) parents
• Honor: to respect & love (孝順)
– Children should honor parents even if
parents demanding & unfair
在主裡面
• 如果不信主的父母強迫子女燒香祭拜時，
該怎麼辦？
• 弗6：1〔要在主裡聽從父母。〕
• 〔在主裡〕就是在基督真理中孝敬父母
• 若父母不仁，吩咐子女做不應作的事，兒
女就不要去作，這原則是補救中國孝道的
不足。
• 失去這原則，變成愚孝或愚忠了
Parents (父母親)
• Parenting is not easy—it takes lots of
patience to raise children in loving Christianhonoring manner
(養育子女不是容易的)
• Frustration and anger should not be causes
for discipline
(教養訓導)
• Parents act in love, treating children as
Jesus treats people He loves
(以耶穌的心為心).
Parents
• Parents should care gently for children, even
children are disobedient & unpleasant
• Parent’s discipline is to help children grow,
not to provoke them to anger or
discouragement (Colossian 3: 21)
– Handle with care
– Firm discipline in love
– Don’t alienate them by nagging, deriding
or destroy their self-respect so that they
lose heart
Ephesians 6:4
• Fathers, do not exasperate your
children, instead, bringing them up
in the training and instruction of
the Lord.
• 你們作父親的，不要惹兒女的氣，要
照著主的教訓和警戒，養育他們。
• 你們作父親的，不要惹兒女的氣，恐
怕他們失了志氣(歌羅西書3：21)
父親
• 要
– 教訓(discipline in
love)
– 警戒(No nagging,
deriding, destroy self
respect)
– 養育他們 (bringing up
in training and
admonition of the
Lord
– Treat children as
Jesus did treat the
people as He loves
• 不要
– 惹兒女的氣(don’t
provoke children
to wrath)
作父親的
• 不惹兒女生氣，恐怕他們失了志氣
–父母以身作則，盡養育教訓和警誡
的責任。
–一切本諸愛心，不可苛求。
• 十二歲以後為他們未來的婚姻代禱。
一封沒有寄出的信
(an undelivered letter)
• 二位受過高等教育的姊弟，常年在外，
鮮少回家，與父母少有聯絡 ，
• 終有一天回家了，發現母親已經過世
了，只剩下父親孤獨一人，家裡很髒
亂淒涼，
• 二人為父親整理家庭時，他們發現了
一封末寄出的信 。

• 當我們漸漸老了，不再是原來的我們，請
兒女會理解我們，對我們有耐心，不認為
我們對你們嘮叨不休，前言不符合後語，
其實是為你們好。
• 當我們吃飯時，飯菜從口角掉下弄髒了衣
服，請原諒我們的遲頓，當我們年青時，
我們用同樣的手，一口一口地餵你們長大
的。

• 現在有時候，大小便失禁，請您們原諒我們
遲頓的功能，當你們小的時候，我們為你們
擦屁股，清潔大小便，
• 雖然我們講話時常忘記主題，語不倫次，使
您們不耐煩，其實只要您們願與我們講話，
我們就心滿意足，感激不盡了。
• 只要你們願意在我們身邊，我們就知足了。

• 孝順不在於物質及金錢的供應，而是在於
態度，
• 當我們吃完飯後，送給我們一柸熱荼，在
陽光燦爛的時光時，陪我們走一段路，我
們心得滿足，
• 當你們結婚生子時，讓我們有機會，看看
孫子，這提醒我們，您的生命是從我們來
的，如今有了生命的延續。
A letter of undelivered
• 當我們漸漸年老，眼睛昏花，彎腰駝背，
請不要為我傷心，因這是生理的現象，請
多多給我們愛心及了解，
• 當初我們陪伴你們開始人生的道路，如今
你們陪伴我們走完人生的後半程，我們會
感激不盡的。
• 深深愛你們及不斷為你們禱告的父母敬上。

• God sacrificed His only son for us
神以祂的兒子耶穌為我犧牲贖罪，
何等的愛

父母： 以愛來教養孩子
• Children: obey and honor your
孩子：順服、孝順你們的父母

神的祝福臨到
Wasn't it wrong for Abraham to
obey God?
•

God has the right to take human life (see the
article on God's moral authority) and therefore
had the right to command Isaac's death.
Abraham had known God for many years prior
to this, so he knew God's character and knew
that God had the right to give this command.
Had Abraham initiated the sacrifice or followed
the order of someone who was not authorized
by God, then his act would have been wrong.
• Abraham knew that God had promised
him offspring through Isaac, so this gave
him reason to believe that God did not
intend for Isaac to die permanently:
• Isaac was the only child of his beloved wife
Sarah, the son promised to him by God (Gen
17:19)
• He held a feast on the day Isaac was weaned
(Gen 21:8)
• God refers to Isaac as "your only son, Isaac,
whom you love" (Gen 22:2)
• He made a special effort to get Isaac a godly
wife (Gen 24:1-4)
• Isaac received all of the inheritance (Gen 25:5)
Why would God command Abraham
to sacrifice his own child?
• Testing him he would do what was right
• God has the right to take human life.
