Kindergarten Snapshot • Lakeview will be administering a free kindergarten snapshot assessment to all incoming students. • Parents/Guardians have been provided information in your folders on how to schedule a time for their child to be assessed. • The assessment will provide us with information about your child that will help us design instruction that is targeted to your child’s needs. Kindergarten Snapshot (Cont.) • The results will also inform you, as a parent, what skills need to be worked on over the summer. • The Snapshot assessment must be completed before any students will be placed. • Snapshots dates are March 5, 11, 13, 19,25, and 27, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. (You may indicate on the yellow form in your folder your preference for an assessment date and we will call you to schedule the appt.)
