HOMEWORK POLICY
1. Students are expected to bring in their homework completed and on
time each day. No late work is accepted.
2. Name must appear on work for full credit
3. Homework must be recorded for each subject. This includes daily
assignments; future quizzes and test dates; report and project due
dates; and special reminders
4. Missing homework notices will be sent home when appropriate (Blue
notes) Students will receive 0% credit for any missing assignments.
5. If a student is unable to complete assignments after 45-60 minutes, a
note from the parent is needed. The student is still responsible for
knowing the material since the curriculum is based on the California
Common Core State Standards
QUIZZES AND TESTS
1. Students will be notified of tests in advance
2. Quizzes can be scheduled or given as “pop” quizzes
when needed
3. Students talking or cheating during a quiz or test
receive an F (0%), a misconduct notice is issued, and
a parent signature is required
