Who am I? Dear Reader, I am a very important person I am always very busy I spend a lot of time at Gordonton School I am the best teacher I teach in room 4 I am Mr Carter Dear Reader, Hi, my name is Mr Carter and I am the teacher in Room 4 at Gordonton School. I taught at Hukanui School before arriving at Gordonton several years ago. I have an older brother who is a secondary school teacher, and three nephews. My parents work and live in Te Awamutu, where I grew up. I enjoy travelling, having visited in excess of 30 countries. The most memorable trip was the seven months that I spent travelling around Europe. Some of the nicest places I have been are Cannes on the French Riviera, Corfu in Greece and Gallipoli in Turkey. Another very enjoyable although somewhat shorter trip was to the Rugby Sevens World Cup in Hong Kong, although New Zealand was beaten in the final by Fiji. Other pass times I enjoy are sleeping in and relaxing with family and friends. Recently I have begun playing squash again after having a few problems with an elbow. Unfortunately a return to golf is still not possible as a result of that mishap. I am looking forward to another fun year filled with lots of exciting activities and challenges. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
