After… New furniture, Smartboards and laptops for teachers New Role of Deputy Director – Dr. Marjan Blok DEPARTMENT: School-wide Administration JOB DETAILS: Job Title: Deputy Director Directly responsible to: School Director Directly responsible for: Curriculum, Teacher Development, and Student Support Services Primary purpose of the job: First and foremost, the Deputy Director would add value to the school through leadership of educational initiatives and programming, and provide the Pre-K-12 scope in curriculum development, alignment and delivery necessary for a “guaranteed and viable curriculum”. The Deputy Director would work closely with the Director and administrative team to ensure St. John’s has the capacity to provide and support excellent quality programs (curricular and cocurricular), as well as initiatives to be identified in the strategic plan. The Deputy Director would be primary school leader in any absence of the Director. The job will require thorough knowledge of school ethos, curriculum, operations and co-curricular programming.
