The Louisiana College Caskey School of Divinity celebrates Founder’s Day 2012 Earnest Smith, an Associate of Arts in Pastoral Ministry student, was blessed by the opportunity to fellowship with the children of a classmate. Louisiana College’s Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Timothy Johnson, built new relationships with Caskey School students during the evening’s festivities. Dr. Pete Charpentier, Caskey’s newest professor, (pictured right) enjoyed the new opportunity for out-of-theclassroom discussions with his students. Caskey students invited their loved ones and family members to share in this special night which help to create a wonderful, family atmosphere the whole evening. Dr. Charles Quarles, Dean of the Caskey School (pictured right), graciously served as a host for the Founder’s Day events by welcoming students and their families. Luther Sanson, center, is one of forty-five Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry students currently enrolled in the Caskey School of Divinity. Prospective student Marc Gregoire, center facing, experienced first-hand the blessings and fellowship present at the Caskey School while attending the Founder’s Day events. Louisiana College student Dustin Smith provided a beautiful background soundtrack for mingling and dining. Caskey School of Divinity staff members, like Administrative Assistant Nicole Richmond (center), joined the students, faculty, administrators, and honored guests to celebrate the blessings of the school’s first year. Throughout the evening Louisiana College President, Dr. Joe Aguillard, and his wife, Mrs. Judy Aguillard, showed their enthusiastic support of the Caskey School, its students, and its ministry. Lucas Moncada, a student in the Biblical and Theological Studies program at Caskey, enjoyed celebrating the school’s first year with his girlfriend, Hannah Lanier. Louisiana College President, Dr. Joe Aguillard, opened the worship portion of the evening with a warm greeting. Dr. Jason Hiles, Associate Dean of the Caskey School, delivered an opening prayer thanking the Lord for the many bountiful blessings he has bestowed upon the school during its first year. The Louisiana College Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Fred Guilbert, sang beautiful praises to the Lord as they led the audience in a time of worshipping the Lord through song. As Dean of the Caskey School, Dr. Charles Quarles delivered a powerful message for the evening from Acts 20:17-38. His look at Paul’s final charge explained the mission and heart of the Caskey School of Divinity. Founder’s Day 2012
