Sumner County
Dress Code Survey Results
Surveys analyzed by Andrew Nelson,
Salem Nippa, and Lauren Steele
Procedure
• Beech DECA was given the task of analyzing dress code
surveys.
• The surveys arrived within a two week time period.
• After collaborating with assistant professor Mark Stein at John
Hopkins university we decided to use a Google spreadsheet to
enter the surveys.
• Over a period of two and a half weeks 121 DECA members
entered the surveys into a Google Spreadsheet.
• We exported the data into Microsoft Excel and created
formulas to analyze the statistics.
• Due to incomplete data on surveys the margin of error is plus
or minus .06%.
