Living Responsibility
“Living Responsibility” is our Corporate Social Responsibility strategic
theme focused on three areas that contribute to a more positive future:
GoGreen – Protecting the environment
GoHelp – Helping people in need
GoTeach – Championing education
Supply Chain Americas Approach:
Giving back to the communities where our associates live and work
by supporting the volunteer, fundraising and environmental
sustainability efforts of our associates, sites and customers
through its:
• Community Involvement Policy (110.4) and
• getGREEN Associate Incentive Policy (110.6).

Community Involvement – Site Support
Charity Challenge Program (Policy 110.4 )
• Supports site-wide fundraising activities for qualified non-profit
organizations
• Supply Chain Americas provides a dollar-for-dollar match up
to an approved goal amount set by the site and in some
cases submitted in advance of fundraising activities.
Qualifying sites may apply twice in a calendar year.
• All Supply Chain associates at the site should have the ability
to voluntarily participate
• The organization benefiting must meet the policy and program
guidelines and if possible fit broadly into one of the three
corporate focus areas: Go Green! GoHelp! GoTeach!
• Planned through the site Associate Involvement Committee

Community Involvement - Associates
Two programs support active, full-time Supply Chain Americas
associates in their personal community involvement activities:
• Volunteer Hours Program – Supports associates who volunteer
their personal time to qualified organizations at least 15 hours per
quarter with a US$300 donation to the organization in the
associate’s name. Associates may apply for support for one
organization per quarter, up to four applications per year.
• Matching Grants Program – Allows associates to double the
value of their personal fundraising efforts for the qualifying nonprofit organization of their choice (<$1,000 for individual efforts).
Eligible associates may apply twice in one calendar year.

Sustainability “Green” Activities
Sustainability efforts are important to our business.

leader in environmental protection.

each of us as individuals.

Supporting Your “Green” Purchases
getGREEN Associate Incentive (Policy 110.6)
• Supports personal “green” purchases for Supply Chain Americas
active, full- time associates in the US and Canada
• Apply for incentives ranging from $25–$500 for qualified
purchases such as a hybrid vehicle; Energy Star-rated
appliances or products; alternative energy; water conservation
or waste reduction products; or trees.
• Associates may receive a maximum of $1,000 in incentives per
calendar year.
