BSRM’s outlook about CSR
 Consumption: The revision of the Sustainable
consumption and production action plan may provide an
opportunity to identify new measures to facilitate more
responsible consumption practices.
 Public procurement: In its review of the Public
Procurement Directives, the BSRM intends to facilitate
the better integration of social and environmental
considerations into public procurement.
 Investment: The BSRM consider a requirement on all
investments to inform their clients about ant ethical or
responsible investment criteria they apply.
That means BSRM tiring to interact mass people with
their achievements.

Why BSRM follows CSR?
The initiative demonstrates CSR as it
goes beyond compliance and is a
voluntary response, albeit enlightened
self interest as it is seeking the long term
security of natural resources that
contribute to the protection of the
business and its brands BSRM.

25
BSRM puts forward new policy for
covering several areas:






Enhancing the visibility of CSR and disseminating
good practices
Improving and tracking levels of trust in business
Improving self- and co-regulation processes
Enhancing market reward for CSR
Improving company disclosure of social and
environmental information
Further integrating CSR into education, training
and research

At last we understand that the nature of CSR can
be related to different notions of the role and
nature of corporations or firms and their
relationship to society.

27
Conclusion
It seems clear that the task of
implementing CSR is complex, and that
the contested nature of the concept
raises difficult questions. Not only are
businesses required to be responsive to
current concerns, but they must also
balance present requirements with future
demands and issues, as well as
balancing local and global concerns.
