LESSENED OR DEPLETED.
Ecosystem
• An area composed of biotic (living) and
abiotic (nonliving) components, which
interact with one another.
Ecological Footprint
• A measure of how much land and water
an individual, population or activity
requires to produce all the resources it
consumes and to absorb the waste it
generates.
• (aka how much humans
impact an ecosystem by their
use of land, water and other
natural resources)
