Sewage Right-to-Know
• Sewage “Right to Know” Act (PA 12-11)
– Affects information distribution and notification
after sewage bypass or CSO event
– Takes some requirements that were in NPDES
Permit and makes them state law.
– Requires DEEP to post maps and impact data of
areas potentially affected by CSO events.
– Requires DEEP to post impact data regarding
sewage spills.
