• Understanding privacy as a cyberpsychological concept
– Need to factor in the human as an individual, rather than ‘user’
– Privacy is essentially identity X territoriality
• Gender, demographic, temporal aspects
– Anonymity vs. utility in datasets
– Ethics in analysis: Quis custodes ipsos custodies
– Empower users by pushing data/analysis back to them
• Move towards ‘little data’, i.e. idiothetic rather than nomothetic, Lifelogging, wearables and sousveillance
• Non-privacy: services that do not require log-in
• Collective privacy: total intra-organisation transparency
