• An Educational Supervisor is responsible for
overseeing training and documentation of clinical
training
– Confirm appropriate inductions
– Develop a learning agreement and educational objectives
including plans for study leave
– Meet the trainee at the beginning, middle and end of a placement
– Conduct appraisal and to provide feedback
– Produce a structured report at the end of the year to inform ARCP
(including workplace appraisal)
– Provide career advice if appropriate
– Contact the TPD if concerns regarding training
