Important Budgetary Considerations
• bulk of the budget will be used to support activities
that promote high quality teaching and learning at
UAlberta
• requests for capital equipment (e.g. computers)
must be shown to be integral to the proposal
• principal and co-applicants cannot receive
remuneration
• funds for teaching release will be considered only
in exceptional circumstances
