• Walt was born December 5,1901.
• He was a cartoonist.He created
animated movies.
• Also theme parks visited by millions of
people every year.

He was born in Chicago.
He moved to a farm in Missouri at 4.
Then he moved to Kansas City.
When they got there he was a paper
boy.
Walt’s Life
• In 1918 he went to France to be an
ambulance driver.
• He went back Kansas city and became an
artist.
He got his own business and he was making
Alice and Wonderland.
Before he could finish is business went
bankrupt.

• 1923 he went to California with his
brother and started Disney Brother
Studio.
• He got married to Lillian Bounds on
July 13, 1825.

Then he made the
character Mickey
Mouse. Then he
made the first long
movie.
That was Snow White
and the Seven
Dwarfs.

He got an idea.Why could he not have his
own theme park.
Of that success he took his whole family
on a cruse.
He got very ill.His illness was lung cancer.
Walt’s Death
• He died December 15,1965.
Sadly he did not get to see the
opening of Disney World.But his
brother was there.
