sometimes it is difficult to
feel that我們現在卻蒙了憐恤

Before
I knew Christ, though
I was not perfect, I was not
too bad.
There is no one who is sinless
except our Lord Jesus Christ
羅3:23 因為世人都犯了罪，虧缺
了神的榮耀；

The problem is that we do
not know the current score
But we do not know the score
so we live in tremble. Some
will try to do good, some

We
are not able to save
ourselves.
Salvation is the grace of God.
弗2:8 你們得救是本乎恩，也因著

But
Chinese do not like the
concept that the salvation is
free.
Grace can be a difficult issue
for Chinese.

Chinese
are taught to
remember grace that other
people have given them.
“flower received will remain
fragrant for ten thousand
years”.
No work no reward.

The
difficulty with grace is
about the duty to repay the
grace.
Sometimes this duty to repay
can surpass the need to abide
with the law.
Such thinking is common e.g.
in the underworld.

Yes,
after we become
Christians, we should do good
work but work is not the
requirement of our salvation.

asks us to give Him back
something as a token of our
love and thanks to Him
But God did not just save us,
He has a plan and a glorious
future for us.

We are part of a family and a
building.
All of us have a part to play.

the full-time
minister has a major role to
play but each of us has a role
to play.
We are like a building block
to be used to be a building
for the Holy Spirit.

 Sometimes
we do not see that
we are important in the church.
 We may feel that we are just
nobody but God has given you a
gift to serve others, it can be
music, caring or cleaning up.

can you be a useful
material?
林前3:11 因為那已經立好的根基
就是耶穌基督，此外沒有人能立別

They were privileged

Chinese, we do not feel
too special individually.
We are called and we have a
mission.
Israelites were called to be a
beacon in the world of
pagans.

We are called to be light and

What do we offer?
Prayers來4:16 所以我們只管坦

 We are also Holy.
 Holy means separate

Saint Paul is better
than us but he is the same Holy

as us.
 But the reward would be
different for what he has done
for God.

 Obviously in earthly kingdoms,
there are laws that are unjust or
not reasonable but this is not the
case in the kingdom of God.
