We should move all the way from the BEGINNING to
the END of the story/chapter
include the MAIN CHARACTER(s)
identify the CONFLICT, and tell how it is RESOLVED
...in about 5 sentences!

Turn It Into a Paragraph
 Simba is Mufasa’s son, who is anointed king of
Pride Rock at his birth. He wants to live up to his
father’s expectations and be as good and noble a
king as his father. Scar wants to be king, so he kills
Mufasa and makes Simba think that it’s his fault.
Simba feels guilty and runs away. Simba finally
realizes that he must save Pride Rock and returns
home. He discovers the truth about his dad, fights
Scar, and becomes king.
