Psalm 51:12 (NIV) 12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain meyou. Psalm 51:13 (NIV) 13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways, so that sinners will turn back to you. : Can you have grace towards others sin in such a way that you can read Psalm 23 and realize it was written by an adulterous murderer? Can you receive deep spiritual truth and comfort from Psalm 51 which was written by a murderous adulterer named David and so you can own and repent of your own sin? Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” 2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
