Our Relationship with God
“I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of
heaven and earth…”
To say that God is “Father” does not
mean that we think of God as a man. God is
beyond any gender classification.
Rather, “Father” is a biblical way of
communicating how God is responsible for everything
that exists.

Our Relationship with God
• Why is it important for us to acknowledge God
as the Creator?
• Why is it important for those who have a
relationship with God to continuously seek to

this happen?

Our Relationship with God
• How does Psalm 105:1-4 demonstrate the importance of
seeking God?
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name;
make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
Look to the Lord and his strength;
seek his face always.
