Description Setting
Lightning cracked and flashed as it forked its fingers angrily across the sky.
Below, the wild heath flared, like a blazing fire, under the jagged light,
then settled back into semi-darkness whilst thunder rumbled and roared
like a ravenous beast. From the east, a biting cruel wind bent and pushed
wild, desperate trees as it violently howled and moaned across the violet
moor. Through the swirling mist, three hunched figures – in their own
spellbound thoughts - danced and circled. Why were they on the stormy
heath? Macbeth and Banquo, close to a clearing, froze in fear. Rain
lashed their faces viciously as they stared out across a desolate moor,
awaiting the impending doom.
