Build the Tallest Freestanding Structure. The structure will be measured from table top to the highest point of the structure. 2. Use as Much or as Little of the Kit as you need. 3. You Can Cut or Tear the Paper and/or Tape 4. The Challenge Lasts 18 minutes. What questions do you have about the instructions? (Homework Turn in Box) • Marshmallow Tower Challenge – Video • Pass out Engineering Notebooks – Reflection Marshmallow Tower Challenge • MATERIALS: A bag containing the following items – 20 Sticks of uncooked spaghetti noodles – 1 yard of string & scissors – 1 yard of masking tape – 1 regular sized marshmallow – Paper & pencil (supplied by you) Mrs. Davis’s Materials: Tape Measure Stopwatch Marshmallow Tower Challenge INSTRUCTIONS 1. Build the Tallest Freestanding Structure. The structure will be measured from table top to top of marshmallow 2. The Entire Marshmallow Must be on Top. 3. Use as Much or as Little of the Kit as you need. 4. You Can Break up the Spaghetti, String or Tape 5. The Challenge Lasts 18 minutes. 6.
