No. Other rules? Don’t go behind the circulation desk. This is a work area for adults. How many books may I check out? Kindergarten – 1 book for 1 week. First Grade 1 book for 2 weeks. 2nd – 5th Grade 2 books for 2 weeks Where do I put my book when I’m done with it? The book goes in the book drop – located on the side of the circulation desk. NOT on a shelf…we’ll never find it again! What if I have an overdue book? In accordance with GA state law 20-2-1013: No one will be allowed to check out a book while he or she owes a fine or has an overdue library book. What are the proper ways to care for my library book? Keep the book close to your body. Read with clean hands Use a book mark Keep away from babies and dogs! Don’t get it wet! Don’t leave it outside. Return it on time. What if my baby sister rips it up? If the book is destroyed, and no other children can read it, we will ask you to pay for it. A paperback is $5.00 A hardback is $15.00 What happens if we don’t follow the rules? we will send you back to class with no book. AR Rules Never take a test with another student’s name – we will find out! Keep your book closed during your test! Don’t let other students watch you take the test! This is a serious offense!
