You can use infinitives and gerunds in
order to describe uses and purposes.
Infinitives= To play, to send, to pay
Gerunds= Playing ,Sending, Paying
(Gerunds make verbs into nouns+ ing)

Computer Problems
 What
are some problems that people
can encounter when they are using a
computer?
 What can cause those problems?
 When you encounter those problems,
what do you do? Seek help from a
friend, fix it yourself, take it to a
computer store?
Imperatives and Infinitives for
giving suggestions
When you want to give a suggestion, you can
use an imperative or an infinitive to give
suggestions.
Be sure to turn it on.
Don’t forget to dial the area code.
Make sure to hit the “end” button.
Remember to pay the bill every month.
