Assurance of Your Salvation
Security of the Believer
Assurance of salvation:
Knowing for sure that you
are a Christian.
Knowing that you have a
home in Heaven
Security of the Believer:
Knowing that you cannot
lose your salvation or your
ability to go to Heaven
I. Salvation is totally God’s work

What happens when you
become a Christian?
1. Your sins are forgiven.
2. You have a home in
Heaven. John 14:1-3
3. The Holy Spirit comes to
live within you. Romans 8:9
Your assurance
must be based
only on what God
did for you.
