The Amazing Story Of Silly Billy
Dear Reader,
My son, Silly Billy, is a very silly boy! He has the most dangerous house in England
and I’m worried that he might have an accident! Please read about his house and
come up with some ideas about how to make it safer!
From Mrs.Billy (Silly Billy’s mum)
Lounge - Silly Billy has 6 plugs plugged into the socket next to the television. He
puts the wires under the carpet so they can’t be seen.
Kitchen - Silly Billy puts the kettle on the other side of the room to the plug, so the
wire goes along the floor from one side of the room to the other. He keeps forgetting
to fix the wires that are broken on the toaster. He often gets toast stuck in the toaster,
and uses a metal knife to get the toast out.
Bathroom - Silly Billy has a television plugged in next to the bath in his bathroom
so he can watch TV in the bath. The wires from the TV trail onto the landing.
Bedroom - Silly Billy has an electric fire in his bedroom. It is next to his bed so that
it keeps him warm at night, and he leaves it on overnight.
