Bottom Bun Always Acknowledge the Work They’ve Done and The Effort They’ve Put Into It. (even if it’s not as much as effort as you feel is necessary… this is not the place to say that) Example: A Team Member Cuts a Video Phrasing: “The fact that you are cutting videos puts you light years ahead of 95% of people in this industry. It takes guts to get in front of the camera… I’m proud of you!” The Meat Start off with “As your Mentor and Your Friend and I want to see you be as successful as possible… so I want to suggest a couple things…” Do not make this a Triple Burger Stack and lay on 4 or 5 criticisms at once Phrasing: “I noticed in your video you were nervous and checking your notes often” Example Phrases for Top Bun Phrase 1: “Think of the happiest moment in your life and focus on that moment until you feel the exact way you felt at that particular time. Do NOT cut the video camera on until you are in that place. Lots of people are nervous at first… but changing your mental state will help you feel relaxed.” Phrase 2: “Let’s make your videos a bit shorter to start… only focus on 3 points so you don’t have too many things to remember. Some people use Notes and are not obvious with them… but I think you can do it without them.” Top Bun This is the most important part of the sandwich because it finalizes the whole package and leaves your team mate either feeling satisfied or unsatisfied Offer Positive SOLUTIONS to correct the “MEAT” you just mentioned Let them know they are not alone, many people struggled with the “MEAT” at first but were able to overcome it. The Pickle This is where you get them excited! Stroke their Ego about previous successes Pump up their energy by reminding them WHY they’re doing this in the first place Remind them you are ALWAYS supporting them. I am always here to bounce ideas off of!” #8: Communication You have 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason… LISTEN. (Doesn’t mean become Dr. Phil) Do not treat people like a number. Genuinely CARE about what your Team is saying, feeling, doing. #9: Be Available If it takes you 2 weeks to respond to a Team member’s voicemail… they immediately think that you just signed them up and left them on their own. Program their numbers in your PHONE so you know it’s them calling and can greet them by name each time. Even if you ARE busy, even a 5 to 10 minute call can reboost their confidence and keep them motivated #10: Have the Best Product, Service, and Compensation Plan Would your team member be buying your product even if there was no compensation plan attached to it? Find out if they are in it for the Money or the Product. Money: What makes your compensation plan better than any other? If it’s not… it should be. Product: Is your product unique? Why is there no other product like it? **Emphasize These Point to Your Team Member Once You Determine What’s Most Important to Them** #11: Be Yourself It’s important to open up to your team. You can’t build real relationships unless you are your true self because people have high BS meters.
