7. He will bring blessings on all of

“If the first piece of dough is holy, the lump is also; and if
the root is holy, the branches are too.”

Tithing is giving God the first ten percent of all
that we have earned, on everything we
acquire, regardless of how large the earnings
or acquisition may be. It is giving God one
dime for every dollar we receive, according to
God’s instruction.
10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that
there may be food in My house, and test Me now in
this,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘if I will not open for you the
windows of heaven and pour out for you blessing until it
overflows. 11 Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so
that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will
your vine in the field cast its grapes,’ says the Lord of
hosts. 12‘All the nations will call you blessed, for you
shall be a delightful land,’ says the Lord of hosts”
Malachi 3:10-12
1 “Then it shall be, when you enter the land which the
Lord your God gives you as an inheritance, and you
possess it and live in it, 2that you shall take some of the
first of all the produce of the ground which you bring in
from your land that the Lord your God gives you, and
you shall put it in a basket and go to the place where the
Lord your God chooses to establish His name”
Deuteronomy 26:1-2
1. The tithe is calculated from the amount we have already
earned. The First Fruit is offered in relationship to what God
wants us to have.
2. The tithe we give reflects our past productivity. The First
Fruit offering declares our future productivity.
3. The tithe is given in faith for protection over what we
have already earned. The First Fruit offering is given in faith
for protection over what we will earn.
4. The tithe looks back in thanksgiving for all we have
already received. The First Fruit looks forward to the
blessing we will receive.
