preference will determine what design rules you apply.

Blend with structure
Eliminate wall cabinets
HYBRID KITCHENS
Key Principles
Solid wood / painted doors
No cornice, pelmet or pillars
Usually mix of two colours
This style is particularly suited to older houses that want a fresh / modern
Kitchen but are afraid a full-on contemporary design would look wrong.
